Alexandre has extensive experience in M&A transactions, oil and natural gas concession contracts, both onshore and offshore, production sharing agreements, JOAs, farm-in and farm-out operations, oil marketing contracts, as well as in natural gas regulatory issues, transportation contracts, purchase and sale agreements, discussions to access infrastructure necessary to flow and processing natural gas, and is deeply involved in the discussions to structure the natural gas market in Brazil
Throughout his career, and among other relevant experiences, Alexandre has distinguished himself by working on acquisitions of companies and assets valued at over US$15 billion, complex regulatory discussions, including those related to the regulatory framework of the world's largest ethanol pipeline, and in the acquisition and structuring of various mining projects in Brazil and abroad (critical minerals, gold, iron ore, manganese, potassium, and diamonds), as well as advising on the structuring of pioneering carbon capture and storage projects
Alexandre is actively committed to legal education and corporate training. He is the author of several publications addressing topics such as oil and natural gas, energy transition, and carbon capture, and delivers lectures and presentations at various levels for public and private institutions in Brazil and abroad
