Experience

Throughout his career, Henrique has accumulated extensive experience in multijurisdictional M&A transactions, project structuring and development, as well as complex regulatory and transactional matters.

Henrique has a prominent practice in highly significant transactions relating to oil and natural gas exploration and production, with solid experience in farm-in/farm-out transactions, concession and production sharing agreements, as well as the commercial and operational contracts typical of the industry. Henrique has also closely followed the evolution of the natural gas market and the opportunities offered by the energy transition, including the adaptation of traditional business models to a decarbonization scenario. His experience encompasses pioneering industry projects, including LNG terminals, natural gas storage, small-scale LNG, access to natural gas flow and processing infrastructure, among others.

He has proven expertise in advising domestic and foreign companies on domestic and multijurisdictional transactions, including projects in Brazil, Argentina, Suriname, Guyana, Uruguay, Mexico, Canada, South Africa, Angola, Mozambique, Namibia, and Ivory Coast. As part of his international experience, Henrique served as Senior Counsel, based in London, at a major global energy/oil and gas company, where he led negotiations for the acquisition of several strategic global assets. Rojas was also Regional Manager of the Brazil-Mozambique Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (CCIABM).
